How to distribute 10,000 event photos without a shared folder
To distribute 10,000 event photos, do not send a Drive link. Upload in batches, let attendees opt in with a selfie, and deliver a private gallery per person by email or QR. Relivo is built for that workflow; a shared folder is built for file handoff between colleagues.

Why the shared folder fails at this volume
Ten thousand files in a folder is storage, not distribution. Attendees cannot search it. Sponsors will not browse it. Your team will spend the next week answering 'can you send me mine?'
A workflow that scales
Keep the photographer's job to capture and a light cull. Automate matching and delivery.
- Agree two upload moments (midday + end of day)
- Cull blinks and misfires only — skip pixel-level retouching on the whole set
- Ingest into an event gallery, not a consumer album
- Open selfie search with explicit consent
- Send personal galleries while the event is still being talked about
- Read opens, downloads and shares the next morning
When a folder is still correct
Hand RAWs to a retoucher, or share selects with a two-person marketing team, in Drive. Do not use that same folder as the attendee product.
What to do next
If you already have the photos, start a Relivo event on the Free plan (up to 200 photos) to test the mechanic, then run Basic or Premium for the live event. See /pricing.
FAQ
- How long should hosting last?
- Relivo's paid event plans include months of hosting (see the pricing page). Do not keep biometric templates longer than you need — that is a GDPR issue, not a marketing one.
