Biometric data
Face templates from an opt-in selfie are treated as biometric data, used only to find that guest's photos.
Consent
Matching requires explicit, revocable consent. Photography notices are not enough by themselves.
Roles
Organizers are typically controllers. Relivo (Digitalstories BV) is the processor. Sign the DPA.
Retention & deletion
Keep templates only as long as matching needs to run. Guests and organizers need a deletion path.
Residency
EU hosting. Confirm subprocessors in the DPA and privacy policy.
DPIA
Systematic biometric processing usually needs a DPIA. Counsel should review it — Relivo cannot do that for you.
