Every weekend a full room. Now every weekend a longer list to fill the next one.
De Porcherie turned every event into an email-capture moment and built one central database of people who already love the venue — 3x more emails per event, growing automatically through a permanent collector on the venue's own site.
A full room every weekend, and nothing kept afterward
De Porcherie is a dance café and event venue near Waregem. It runs its own nights every weekend, hosts private and corporate parties, and produces events at external locations too. Thousands of guests pass through in a season.
The problem is what happened to all those guests afterward: almost nothing. The venue only captured emails when an event happened to require registration, or through the occasional newsletter sign-up. Everyone else came, had a great night, and left as a stranger. To fill the next event, the venue had to win the same crowd back from scratch, usually with paid reach.
Every event becomes a capture moment
Relivo turned every event into a capture moment. Guests upload a selfie to get their photos from the night, and in that same step the venue keeps their email, consented, in one central database that spans every event it runs — internal or external.
The party people most want to relive becomes the moment they hand over a way to be invited back. A permanent collector lives on the venue's own website, so the list keeps growing between events too, not only on the night.
The asset that builds up underneath
The shift is in the asset that builds up underneath. Instead of a cold start before every event, De Porcherie now markets the next night to a growing list of people who already came and already loved it. With a capture moment at every event, the venue collects 3x more emails per event than it did before.
A venue's most valuable asset is not the room. It is the list of people who already want to be in it. Every event should grow that list.
"We run events almost every weekend, but we were barely keeping any of the people who came. Now every guest uploads a selfie to get their photos, and we keep their email. We have built a mailing list of people who already love the place, and we use it to fill the next night."
